I had the honor of photographing these two back on May 30th at the Outer Banks and I’m so thankful we were able to work it out where we could swap portrait sessions the night we both arrived to the beach! Way back in January, Ashley posted in a photographers group on Facebook that she needed a second photographer for a May 31st wedding in Corolla… I saw it and texted her immediately! She second shot with me for a couple of weddings back in 2014 and 2015 and I loved working with her! But, then Ashley moved south to Alabama for an amazing job opportunity and I hadn’t seen her since! So I reached out to her and let her know that I was available, we talked for about 30 minutes about the details, and by the end of the day I had a beach house booked for the weekend!! I turned that weekend into a little mini vacation with my family and it was amazing! That weekend was so refreshing and exactly what our family needed at that time!
Anyways, on to their gorgeous portraits! We met up at Avalon Pier, and then we each photographed each other’s families! It was so sweet!
