Heather + Jack {Wedding Day}

Whew! It seems as though every time I get caught up on blogging, we are just slammed with more bookings! Don’t get me wrong.. I am not complaining about the work and my sweet clients, but I do love and miss getting to share things on the blog with all of you! So with that being said.. let’s dive in to catching up on 2022 content – starting with a STUNNING summer wedding! You may want to brace yourself for the gorgeousness you are about to witness.

Heather + Jack planned one of the most perfect wedding weekends I have ever had the pleasure of shooting. They welcomed their closest friends and family the day before the wedding at The Estate at River Run, where they hosted an intimate rehearsal and rehearsal dinner poolside as the sun set over the James River. This night was an ode to their Texas home with the entire setup, decor and food choices provided by Cater 2 Events. Everything was planned to the utmost detail and it truly showed!

Their wedding day was no exception to the attention and detail put into making this the most wonderful moment of Heather + Jack’s life!! I think my jaw was on the floor the whole day, and I might have slipped out a few too many “SO STUNNING!” or “this is so BEAUTIFUL”… but I don’t think anyone could blame me – we were all thinking it!

Instead of covering every aspect of this wedding, I’m going to share 3 of my favorite moments! The first being the overwhelming sense of love between everyone in such an intimate way during the whole day. Heather and Jack’s families were so sweet to each other, and treated every guest like a part of the family! It was so sweet! My second favorite would have to be Heather’s outfit change for the reception! She changed into the cutest, little, white, midi dress that had pearl and feather details, along with a feather clutch and pointed toed heels. TOTAL PERFECTION. And last, but not least.. the literal party that was the reception! The music was playing, the drinks were flowing, and the people were dancing!! Not one slow song was played the entire time – and it was a BLAST! Oh, and halfway through the reception, they brought out light up leis!
