Moriah + Kevin {Wedding}

January 11, 2021

WOW, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Is it too late to say that..? Asking for a friend, obviously! 😉 Wellll, we’re just going to roll with it since it’s the first post of the year on the blog, and it just seems like the best way to start it off. 🙂

The last quarter of this past year, was the busiest season in my 9 year career.. as I’m sure you could tell by the lack of content on the blog. *oops! Blogging had to be put on the back burner in order for me to work on the amount of sessions I shot! BUT that is not the case this year! FP has quite the lineup of blog posts to share over the next few months, and we are EXCITED!! Showcasing the work that we capture at FP is truly a joy, because it feels wonderful seeing your reactions to each session, image, and love story.

THANK YOU for your continued support! It means the world, and allows me to turn what I love into a career that supports my family! Now, on to this BEAUTIFUL June wedding from this past year!

Moriah + Kevin’s wedding day was nothing short of intentional, special, filled with love and so incredibly memorable. The day started at the stunning Bienvenue, in Powhatan VA, where the girls did hair and makeup, got dressed and hung out upstairs while the downstairs and outside were decorated for the reception. Once we shot details and the girls getting ready, we moved to The Bridge Church where the ceremony would be held. The location for the wedding is special in itself as this is where Moriah’s dad is the lead pastor. Ohhh, and don’t get me started on the ceremony! First off, the ring bearer (Moriah’s nephew) rode down the aisle in style – a white Mercedes, remote control car. How fun?! Second, and my FAVORITE moment of the entire day, when Moriah began walking down the aisle it was as if time stood completely still. Kevin was in awe of his bride and his raw, pure reaction displayed that exact message. Later that evening, they partied the night away with close family and friends and were sent off with a sweet, sparkler exit.

Sending love and well wishes to you, Mr. & Mrs. Humphrey!!!

XOXO,

Ashley
