In early 2021, Rachel was preparing to move to from Greensboro, NC to Richmond, VA. While getting ready to move, a lady in her church found out where she was moving and informed her that she had a lifelong friend who raised her family in Richmond, and offered to connect them! This lifelong friend of Rachel’s fellow church member had a son (Chris) that led a bible study, which would be the perfect place to meet new friends once there! Rachel reached out to Chris via email and he responded saying that he would love to meet for coffee once she moved and had settled in.

So her first weekend in Richmond, they met up at Urban Farmhouse in Shockoe Slip and ended up talking for 3 hours! In Rachel’s own words.. “The rest was history!” After their first encounter, they stayed connected and began dating 3 months later. They both enjoy hanging out with friends and family, playing trivia, rock climbing, serving at their church, traveling, history, listening to jazz music, watching documentaries and exploring the coffee shops + museums in Richmond! They are old souls and are beyond excited to build a home and life together!!
