Rachel + Matt {Portraits}

August 14, 2018

This couple holds a very special place in my heart! I met them in 2012 at our church, and instantly began to form a friendship with them. In 2014, Rachel became my wedding assistant, and that has been one of the best business decisions I have made!! Little did we know then… that one day I’d be training her to be a photographer for Faith Photography! Sometimes I still can’t believe it! I began training Rachel in January, and while finding time to train isn’t easy, she’s done so well! We’ve gone over all camera settings, how to shoot manual, all about the lenses, shooting details, lighting, posing, etc…While we still have a lot to go over, I am so proud of Rachel for all that she has learned, and for the amount of time she has put into learning photography in order to become an Associate Photographer for Faith Photography.  She has photographed multiple sessions this summer on her own, and I can’t wait to share them on the blog soon. If you’re wondering what this means for Faith Photography….it means…that Faith Photography won’t be limited to ONLY weddings anymore!! It means MORE family portraits, newborn portraits, senior portraits, maternity portraits, small events, etc!! SO, if you’re interested in portraits with us this Fall, please email us through the ‘Inquire’ page to book your session! Rachel is very kind, easy going, and so much fun to work with! I can’t wait for you to have the opportunity to work with her too!!

Stay tuned for details on my Associate Program and an introduction to my Faith Photography Team!!!

Until then, enjoy these gorgeous portraits of Rachel and her husband Matt that we took this spring down at Brown’s Island in Richmond. This session was a part of her training, as I went over posing and positioning couples. We also took portraits of a super cute and fun couple that I will be sharing soon as well! So get excited!! We have a lot coming for Faith Photography!! WHO’S READY?!?
