Ready for all of the mushy, intimate, gooey love feels?! Well, meet Logan & Joe, everyone! Otherwise known as… the cutest, most beautiful, easygoing, always smiling, laid back couple there ever was! Guys, I am not kidding, or exaggerating one bit, when I say that I didn’t have to tell them how to do a single thing! They were so so good in front of the camera. I felt spoiled!
Logan and I met a few years ago while I was assistant coaching basketball at Salem, and we instantly became good friends.
In the Fall of 2017, Joe and Logan started dating and knew early on that they were going to get married. While they had originally agreed to get married around the mid-to-end of summer this year, Logan was about to start a new teaching position. Not wanting so many major life changes one right after the next, they thought it best to move the wedding up. So, a week before Joe proposed, Logan contacted me in regards to being their photographer, and to say I was excited is an understatement! The wedding was set to take place towards the end of May, so we had about a month to get everything in order.
After a few quick phone calls and some generous vendors/venues, we successfully pulled off the ultimate intimate, sweet and small wedding. Joe and Logan said their “I Do’s” on a hilltop, overlooking the James River at a private venue, surrounded by just sixteen of their closest family and friends. Each part of that day was special and precious, and there was not a moment that day where love wasn’t evident. Oh, and I definitely cried during the ceremony.. I couldn’t help it!
CONGRATULATIONS Logan + Joe on your marriage! I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for your new life together as husband and wife! 💕 🎉
Also, I couldn’t write this blog post without giving a big shoutout to Rachel Haller for being my assistant photographer for this wedding! This was the first wedding she shot as my second photographer, and she killed it! I have included some behind the scenes shots at the end of the images, if you want to see us all in action!
P.S. There are a lot of really GORGEOUS images below.. continue scrolling at your own risk! 😉
