Brooke + Scott {Proposal}

Brooke and Scott are ENGAGED and we are so excited for them! They are high school sweethearts and are planning a Fall 2019 wedding at the gorgeous Bandit’s Ridge wedding venue!!

Scott contacted Faith Photography about a week before he was planning to propose, asking for my associate photographer Rachel Haller to photograph the proposal. Brooke, Scott, Rachel and her husband Matt all went to school together and were great friends! And, on top of that, Brooke and Rachel grew up together as well! So asking Rachel to photograph their proposal was perfect and meant a lot to her, as she loved being able to witness and capture that beautiful moment for them!!

Leading up to the proposal, Scott knew he wanted to propose at The Boathouse at Sunday Park, but he had never been there before. SO, I had to schedule a portrait session there that same week to scope out the area for him, and give him options on where to propose!! We got everything planned out and everything was good to go for their proposal on that Friday! Rachel did a great job hiding out behind trees and canoes and trying her best to crop out a mass of people and boats!

Scott got down on one knee and proposed to Brooke on the dock by the water, as the sun set over the reservoir, and it was PERFECT! Brooke was definitely surprised and thrilled to finally call the love of her life ‘fiancé’!! Rachel then popped out of hiding and Brooke was surprised again! It was an emotional, yet exciting evening for everyone involved, haha!
