Chelsie & John {Married}

December 18, 2018

STOP! YOUR! SCROLL!! It’s finally here!!! Chelsie and John’s wedding day is up, and I can not stop swooning!! It’s a good thing that a picture is worth a thousand words.. because I am still speechless and so taken away by this beautiful day. SPOILER: There’s a lot of images. Narrowing it down to just a few favorites was impossible. Seriously. Just look at them and you’ll see what I mean.

John and Chelsie were married on November 2nd, of this year. They had originally planned for a spring wedding, but due to venue availability/plans changing they decided to move it up to this fall instead. I was a little skeptical of the timing at first and unsure of whether or not I could handle a full wedding day (just had a baby!), but God was in the details from the very beginning! The venue they chose, Clover Forest Plantation, was five minutes from my mom’s house, so I was able to slip away if Eli needed anything! 🙌 With this wedding being the first full wedding that I had shot since having Eli, and with it being the last FP wedding of 2018, it was a special and wonderful day all around.

One of my favorite moments of Chelsie and John’s wedding day was their gift exchanges. They were thoughtful, intimate, and Chelsie was inclusive of not only her father, but her soon to be father in law. John gifted Chelsie a diamond necklace to wear that day along with a sweet handwritten note, and she gifted him a watch with their special anniversaries engraved on the back of the face. Chelsie then gifted both of their fathers each a tie for the wedding with a hand-stitched message on the underside. SO SO SWEET! 😍 Looking every bit of stunning, Chelsie donned a beaded, lacy, Rebecca Ingram gown for her big day, along with her sister Cassie’s earrings, and her monogrammed Jack Rogers! Cassie wore the same earrings on her wedding day, and I love the fact that I got to capture that seemingly little, yet special detail for two sisters on each of their wedding days.

Now.. let’s get to these images!! And can we talk about these colors?! Let me know which image is your favorite in the comments! I’m interested to know! Better yet, can you guess my favorite??
